Food Enzymes Are Essential

Food enzymes taken with a meal are very beneficial to good health and especially beneficial to those with health challenges and sensitivities, including children.

Major problems can arise when the body is unable to digest and assimilate food that has been put into it. Nature’s plan calls for the enzymes found in raw food to help with digestion. It is not just what we eat that nourishes us; nutrition is what we digest and assimilate. Most people don’t properly digest the foods they consume. Enzymes are imperative to digestion. Unfortunately, most of the foods we eat do not contain any enzymes. Today, in order to preserve shelf-life, fruits and veggies are altered to have little or no enzymes. Processed foods contain no enzymes. Cooking foods, like veggies, at 110 degrees kills the natural enzymes in them. This leaves us with our body having to utilize its own enzymes to digest our food. The problem with this is our immune system needs enzymes to function properly, when all our enzymes are used to digest our food, our immune system is left depleted and we become susceptible to sickness and disease.

If food enzymes, taken with a meal, do some of the work, the body is not burdened with eliminating an accumulation of food it cannot assimilate. Food allergies, gas and bloating, heartburn, constipation, or diarrhea are only minor problems that can result. Studies are revealing the lack of enzymes may be the direct cause of many chronic degenerative diseases.

There are many varieties of food enzymes. We will be happy to assist you in finding the right enzyme for your body.
